I was told by my former organ teacher that I would most likely not get it learned and in good shape to use for the competition but obviously I did and I am very proud of myself. Unfortunately we did not get to hear any of the other competitors but big congratulations to them on their fine work.

I have decided that it will be my last competition. What I have realized is that my time is better spent studying and improving my repertoire and doing concerts for those of you who want to come hear me play live. There is much less stress in concerts and it is so much more enjoyable to see your smiling faces in the audience. I am guaranteed my fee so I don't have to worry or wonder about the judgement of someone else other than my audience and I know I can earn money to support my studies.
